Wanted to know the best and cheapest mobile for GPRS usage from Nokia

Am new to GPRS system

im quite happy with my e63, facebook, ebuddy messenger, hotmail, it also has email on the fone as sms option but for that it stays online all the time.

i wasnt able to open or Download a pdf file on it, but it has microsoft office and acrobat reader

i beleive that Warid, Telenor and Ufone Offer Edge Services now which is around 4x faster than GPRS... no extra costs.. just the same data plan....

Get a Touchscreen phone for the best GPRS usage as u get the whole webpage instead of a mobile version or try using a 3rd party browser such as Opera Mini...

Touchscreen:

5230 = Cheap
5530 = midrange
5800 = GPS + Gud Camera with 8GB card
N97 = High End Expensive device

What does touch scren has to do with GPRS usability, specialy wen Nokia touch screens arent user frndly at all.

Toucscreen = Bigger screen = Full web browsing

Normal Screens = Small = Hard to read = mobile sites

Ahan, but isnt full webbrowsing way expensive on the GPRS??

by using a 3rd party browser like Opera Mini You Can decrease the image quality which then cuts down the gprs upto 40%

Get a bundle package for GPRS. I just pay 500 rs per month for unlimited GPRS use.

Well whatever phone you have install opera mini in it. It is the best mobile browser.
